DuoCon One-Tripper – Two New 10ft Steel Containers

DuoCon one-tripper shipping container – two new 10ft steel containers in one delivery
Our DuoCon one-tripper shipping container is a smart, cost-effective way to get two new 10ft steel containers in a single delivery. We receive the container as a standard 20ft unit. We then cut it in half at our facility. After that, we install internal end panels and apply touch-up paint. As a result, you receive two clean, ready-to-use 10ft containers. Browse our full range of 10ft shipping containers to see all available options.

Furthermore, the DuoCon design saves on overseas freight. A foreign shipper can fully load the 20ft container before it ships. This means you only pay for one overseas freight movement instead of two. Each 10ft unit retains the original two swing doors, two sets of fork pockets, and steel corner casting blocks for overhead lifting. For container construction and handling standards, refer to the ISO 668 international standard for shipping containers.

Key features of the DuoCon 10ft container
Two containers, one delivery
The DuoCon ships as a single 20ft unit. As a result, you save on overseas freight costs. After delivery, we cut and fabricate it into two separate 10ft containers. Both units are ready to use straight away.

Corten 14-gauge steel body
We build every unit from non-corrosive Corten 14-gauge steel. It is tough and long-lasting. Furthermore, it handles harsh outdoor conditions without rusting or losing structural strength.

High security steel lockbox
Every DuoCon unit includes a high-security steel lockbox as standard. In addition, the vandal-proof locking bar system on the swing doors makes forced entry extremely difficult.

Watertight rubber door gaskets
Heavy rubber gaskets seal the doors tightly. Therefore, rain, wind, and moisture stay out. Your goods remain dry and protected in all weather conditions.

Fork pockets and overhead lifting blocks
Each unit has two sets of fork pockets for ground-level empty lifting. Moreover, steel corner casting blocks at each corner allow safe overhead crane lifting at any site or depot.

Ashtray vents and lashing rings
Ashtray vents allow steady airflow through the container. This prevents condensation from building up inside. Additionally, lashing rings keep goods firmly in place during transport.

Applications for the DuoCon 10ft container
Construction sites
The 10ft unit is light and easy to move. Therefore, it suits active construction sites where storage needs change often. Use it for tools, materials, and equipment. Move it when the job is done.

Retail kiosks and concession stands
The compact size works well for pop-up retail and concession stands. Furthermore, it is easy to set up, lock up, and move to the next event or market location.

Defence and government
Defence and government clients use these units as control rooms, secure storage, and emergency generator stations. Moreover, the steel body and lockbox meet the security needs of these sectors.

Secure and fireproof storage
Store files, vehicles, boats, power tools, and furniture safely. The corten steel body offers strong protection against theft, fire risk, and weather. Additionally, the lockbox adds another layer of security.

Portable offices and conversions
The DuoCon unit converts well into a guard shack, site office, or portable battery station. Explore our modified containers for fit-out options to suit your conversion needs.

Seasonal and overflow storage
Businesses use the 10ft unit to manage excess stock during busy periods. It is simple to place on-site and remove when no longer needed. As a result, there is no need for a permanent structure.
